God watch the tapes man, we're talking about men who are out of shape that Smoke cigarettes like their apples. It's quite obvious many of you haven't seen the tapes on srr, his opponents were horrid, for the most part. As a whole we're talking sparring partner level. If you're not aware, they fought so much that all of them fought at least monthly and against the same people over and over again. Only the Champs actually had somewhat of training camps.they would fight so often that the majority of their opponents were the level of sparring partners of the current generation. It's ok, everyone needs something to hold on to, doesn't matter what the truth is.. if you have a couple hours to waste for review fights from as far back as you can. Check the 40's and 50's. You'll see the major difference in actual in ring skills.
