Andre Berto will get KTFO as soon as he steps up he is all HYPE...

I think he's overrated, but everyone on here seems to believe he's overrated....So then in reality maybe he's not overrated?

 

very good handspeed. but yes like u said he fights in spurts and could get dropped from the lack of chin protection. if forbes had any power he would have sat him down a few times.

 

Here we go again with the Berto hate threads. He's a young fighter who gets better everytime he enters the ring. He just might have the fastest hands in all of boxing and probably is the top 1 or 2 hardest hitting welters. His defense has been questioned and rightfully so but I can't stress the fact that he is young and is inexperienced against quality opposition. There's no doubt that he's not ready to fight the Margarito's, PTP's, and Cotto's of the division yet but he could beat just about any other welter imo. And the one thing that can't be questioned by any fight fan or anyone with a pair of eyes is his exciting style. He is must see tv for me.

 

Don't know why, but I think this kid is worth it... Have to see him in a real challenge to make sure though.

 

Berto's the future...

 

If Forbes had power he might have had Oscar down. And Berto imo looked better against Forbes than Oscar did.

 

i like berto he gets better every fight great handspeed pretty good power hes not as bad as u guys make him out but i do think his chin is a bit shaky

 

didnt see the forbes vs delahoya fight but thought berto would have sat down forbes if his power was top notch. he caught forbes with some clean hard shots.

 

he looks good, he's gonna be well protected while he works out the kinks fighter older well knowns to stay relevent................hope he fights collazo that would be fun to watch

 

I don't think he's overrated. I think he's well on his way to being a great fighter. Since so many people seem to think he's overrated, that might make him underrated.. :think

 

Forbes might be the sturdiest fighter in all of boxing. I don't believe he's ever been down. It would be unfair to Berto or any of Forbes' opponents to judge power based on the performance against Forbes. If you have any questions about Berto's power watch his 3 prior fights before Forbes in which he checks the chins of Miki Rodriguez, Michael Trabant, and David Estrada.

 

ud think him being born at just 2 lbs would make him easily koable. but ofcourse anythings possible.

 

Exactly haha...The first time I saw him, I'm like wow this guy is ridiculously overrated. But it seems like every1 on this board thinks he's overrated, thus he's underrated?
