"Dibella's Comments pertain to the recent suspension of margarito by the california state athletic commission"

" if the allegations are found to be true, and the suspensions stick, the june 13th rematch between margarito & cotto is in the toilet. A few months back, Dibella and Bob Arum were in talks for a poential cotto-berto bout in 09', but the two sides were far apart on the money. If Margarito is not there, Cotto's choices may come down to berto or a rematch with Mosley."

"Arum's rational to stage a cotto- margairto rematch, instead of a rematch with cotto & mosley, is cotto recieving a bigger piece of the moeny with margarito. using arum's logic, cotto would recieve a bigger split of the money against berto than he would against mosley"

"berto would love to step in and take the place of margarito against cotto on june 13th..they could unify the titles & the winner could fight luis collazo"

    thoughts?

    sounds unrealistic to me...

Why is he "replacing" Margarito? When was Cotto-Margarito II on June 13th ever remotely official?

Berto should give Collazo a rematch first. Mosley should fight Cotto on June 13th.

that would definitely be a bad move for him... He should stick to give L.Collazo a rematch and leave the big dogs alone!!

    Beat me to it.

This is exactly what he should be doing. He doesn't deserve to hold that belt.

Maybe Collazo and Berto can fight on that same card, thus giving boxing a rare treat. An actual good boxing card on ppv would be nice.

Berto is clearly not ready for Cotto at this point. Cotto by late stoppage.
