Andre Berto Willing To Step In Against Cotto To Replace Margarito On June 13th

I don't think anyone is really interested in Clottey. I know for sure Mosley, Cotto, and Margo aren't. All 3 are bigger draws plus he's dangerous. All risk and little reward. The boxing public won't go nuts for Clottey. Mosley has been fighting difficult fighters like Clottey for too long. No wanted Forrest or Wright, but Mosley gives them a shot. At 37/38 he doesn't need to do this anymore. He has said he wants nothing but mega fights from now, and quite frankly that's what he deserves.

 

Berto's one of my favorite fighters, but if he fought Cotto now, i'm 100% sure Cotto would end his career early

too much balls and not enough brain in this guy, he's still young, green, and has alot of room for improvement, he needs to work on the lower echelon of the top 10 and work his way up, Cotto is a HUUUUGE jump in class

 

Good fight for Cotto, bad for for Berto. Berto's camp may want to rethink this match up at this time. A good fight for Berto would be Cintron or Judah.

I would really like Cotto to fight Clottey. It has to start somewhere as far as a unified champ.

 

Let's see how good Cotto looks in his next fight. If he has lost something this would be the perfect opportunity for Berto. Cotto should win but Berto wouldn't go out like a chump.

 

Hope it happens. Cause I would love to see what Cotto Has left and what Berto has period. And honestly as a cotto fan I'm torn between which of the two fights I would rather see. I would probably like to see him get his revenge against Margo but there is something in me that just feels like Marog is all wrong for him not matter how you slice it. He's never show the type of style that Shane proved was the ticket to beating him. But who knows we'll have to see if Margo was loading his wraps or not.

realistically Berto has no chance....so please, dont even put the idea in his head that he does, unless you wanna see a talented fighter with potential get ruined

 

Wasn't this fight guaranteed before the Mosley fight was done? Wasn't it part of AM agreeing to fight Mosley?
