People forget... Shane Mosley was 6 weeks into camp for Berto. Berto didn't give an F about Haiti, he was paid step aside money by Floyd Mayweather.

So Shane takes two weeks off camp and jump back in for another full 8 week camp for Mayweather. 14 weeks overtrained in camp and he looked like a shadow of the man who had fought Margartio.

Berto v. Mosley was gonna be a banger of a fight. Two power boxers who tried to rip heads off.

Never quite made it to the tippy-top, but was in those fights, always came to win and never appeared to be out of shape. I liked Berto even though maybe I didn't root for him in every fight. Hope he's doing well in his retirement. Don't he and his family own some gyms or something?
