Andre Direll should be super 6 favourite! Not Ward

I feel the same. Ward may be technically better, but Dirrell has faster hands, more power and I would say better footwork.

 

I still say Ward depending on how he does against Green, even though I'm a Dirrell fan.

 

Dirrell gives problems to all other Super 6'ers I can agree on that.

 

I like Ward over Dirrell but I actually think Dirrell will beat Ward when they fight.

 

Most do not agree he won the Froch fight, some claim he got jobbed, but he was inactive and hugging most of the fight so what did he expect.

Whatever you think about the cards, that fight was not a good performance from him, and Abraham was putting him under a lot of pressure before the DQ. He's got the skills alright, but there's questions over his temperament.

 

You know nothing about probability. Dirrell almost certainly has to beat Ward to even qualify. If Ward beats Green then he will qualify even if he loses against Dirrell. That's why Ward is more likely to win the Super Six than Dirrell at this time.

 

I like dirrell but ward is and should be the favorite in the tourney .. he beat the favorite when the tourney started and did it convincingly ... h2h its a pickem fight .. they present problems for 1 another and ward is a lil better with adjustments ... I want dirrell to win the whole thing but this tourney goes thru ward

 

Dirrell is good but Ward is more of an all rounder.I think the 2 should have met in the finals because they are the best in the tournament

 

I'm not sure Dirrell has that competitive edge required. I may well be wrong but the way the last two fights of his have panned out haven't convinced me as to his prospects. Very talented though.

 

Direll has surprised me however he is kind of a *****. He complains too much and can just flat out run at times. I do agree he beat Froch but Abraham i think was coming on too strong for him in the final rounds and just chose to not continue.
He had a good chance of finishing the fight which would have given him the UD. But Abraham was just landing too much in those last few rounds. And we all know it just takes 1 from him to take you out.

 

Dirrell is underestimated but I don't think he should be the favorite now. Ward IMO is the best fighter in the super 6. I see him beating Dirrell more mentally tough than Dirrell and beating AA, Froch and Green.

 

dirrell mental game seems weaker then ward thats why most don't favour him

 

Ward was more impressive IMO in his win over Kessler, than Dirrel was in his win over Abraham. I also feel Ward would have blown the doors off of Froch.

 

He should but Ward's winning the whole thing ..
