If this fight were to happen how do you think it would go?

Id advice yall not to be biased against oosthuizen because the guy is pretty danm good.

My personal opinion Andre Dirrel wins SD. I could see Oosthuizen winning 4 solid rounds.

I think Dirrells speed would be a hard meal for Oosthuizen.

    true.

but It might not look like it by his record but Oosthuizen is a good puncher and can go to the body pretty well for a guy his size.

its not impossible for Oosthuizen to slow him down.

Headshots would be pretty difficult for both fighters due to Oosthuizens height and Dirrels speed and headmovement. but dirrell has faced champion level opposition before and he is world class and proven. Dirrel will more than likely outland oothuizen by a bit.

Dirrell's speed and length would cause lots of problems for Oosthuizen, though I'll admit he has good pop on his punches, a good set of whiskers and nice body work. I'll say Dirrell wins an 8-4 decision.

Oosthuizen has really good speed himself, watched his last fight and his handspeed was pretty crazy, the reason Dirrell takes it though is because of superior footwork, better reach and defensive skills.

Dirrell's footwork is terrible. That's why he's always tripping/falling to the canvas. He's good at using his feet to keep smaller guys out of range, i.e. backpedaling, but that doesn't amount to good footwork.

Better fight than a lot of casual fans might initially think. Dirrell just has more tools in the shed, most notably his combination speed.

I see a fairly wide decision in a fight that seems a bit closer due to some competitive rounds that Dirrell just edges.

TO doesn't have the elite timing that he'd need to decisively beat Dirrell.

Its an interesting match up, but to be fair to Dirrell, although he hasnt really beaten anyone of note he has done more than Oousthuizen. Dirrell has mixed in higher class with Oganov, Stevens, Hanshaw and Abraham. Although they are not massive names at SMW, they are a step up to Oousthuizens victims.
Still its a tough call, I think its a fight Dirrell could win, but I wonder if Oousthuizen would out tough Dirrell. I have a feeling Thomas will be willing to dig deep when called to and not sure if Dirrell would be as willing.
I think its who fights their fight that wins. I think Dirrell would win more early rounds and Oousthuizen more late rounds but Dirrell just winning a few more for a close win, though I wouldnt bet on it and could change my mind the next day

His footwork is not as good though and against Dirrell, it would show. There are good things on Oosthuizen but I'm not sold on him. I think he should have beaten his last opponent more easily. Fortunately for him, Johnson gassed. I have some doubts about his footwork, his defense, his power and his ring IQ. He's good enough to be on my radar though.

For the moment, Dirrell would win pretty easily.

Who has the better chin between the two? I know TO has taken some pretty hard shots, and there's the whole Dirrell / Abraham debacle.

I never said his footwork is good, I said superior, for something to be superior it doesn't have to be good, it just has to be better than what it is being compared to. And I disagree, I think his footwork is pretty good.

Dirrel by KO in 7. Oosthuizen is entertaining but an extremely limited fighter with terrible defense.
