    His lousy outing with HBO vs Curtis Stevens made the network say "get him the **** out of here" .... he goes to show time and builds himself back up ... has arguably the best peformance of his career and then a very anticipated fight vs Andre Ward. He then drops out of the tourney.. are u serious?

    So let me get this straight your an American Prospect ... who just won a title via DQ, in a fight where your victory is jaded because some people question your injury ... so ur very next fight u have a chance to fight the #1 or #2 guy in ur division and prove urself and urself and u do what?

    Now u shitted on showtime and hbo doesn't even want to look ur way .... espn2 is the only option left for u ... ur only liked in the USA ..and u took urself out of the 2 biggest boxing networks in the USA .. good luck buddy .. hopefully I'm wrong but that's how I see it playing out

    EDIT: he didn't win a title ... I confused his bouts between froch and abraham ...

    I was really looking forward to Ward vs Dirrell and had money on Dirrell to beat him.

    Shame Dirrell is such a damn *****.

    I must admit though that besides him lacking balls he does got talent, his fight against abraham was amazing.

    I find it hilarious that nobody even considers the fact that perhaps he's telling the truth and that he has had neurological problems. Is it really that hard to believe?

    It could be true ... but he's in training already ...and in his interview he said he needs a couple months of rest ... the **** that bothers me is that he isn't an elite fighter yet ... so why is he acting like one? ... he said it himself he needs more money and blah blah blah ... his cousin and his grandfather got on my nerves soooo much cuz it looked like andre wanted to say something but they cut him off ... @ the end of the day u said u need rest so why are u training?

    He can't spar, that doesn't mean he cannot train in the gym. He feels good since a couple of weeks, so it is normal to go back to the gym. He's supposed to spar 3 months after his last symptoms.

    That being said, I'm not saying he tells the truth.

    He'll be fighting again within 6 months. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him. After the Hanshaw fight he was also caught on camera saying something like "I don't care if the fight stunk, I got paid like a mother****er." He's a phony little *****.

    he should retire period..how many boxers you know,that even against dr orders would of fight,because they are warriors or need the money.Either way direll started to cry,im not a cowards,and that in itself looked fake to me....to me he is not a coward,but doesnt have the heart..it it kinda reminds me of lacy..not because of styles,but because of the drama..once they saw and felt the punishment they came out with excuses!

    Dirrell is the biggest damn ***** I've ever seen at this level of boxing. Hopefully he'll be completely forgotten in a few years. Get that clown out of my beloved sport. Go do gay porn, *****.

    Very good point man ... but if the injury was the problemwhy not just delay the fight ... instead of dropping out the tourney ... I feel bad for showtime cuz they had good intentions but everything bad that could've happened, happened ... the 1st 2 rounds were exciting other than the allan green fight ... too bad
