Dirrell was just acting like a ***** in my opinion. I'm no Froch fan but I hope the knock the ever loving **** out of Dirrell - he probably will as well.

What I dont understand is how can anyone even bring up Dirrell's actions when Froch is one of the biggest trash talkers in boxing.

    Double Standards anyone ???????????????????/

Wanna bet 500 quid on this fight with me? We can exchange addresses via PM. You seem so confident in a guy who has proved nothing. Posting 'yeah I agree you took the words right out of my mouth' after a guy says that Jermaine Taylor must be naff because he didnt job Kassim Ouma etc doesnt make the original post any less crap.

Pm me to let me know if you wanna bet. Your in Britain so there should be no probs if you do.

Like I said, I am no Froch fan. Some people can trash talk and others can't and in my opinion Dirrell came across like a twat.

It's not double standards at all - some fighters I like despite trash talk and others I don't. Simple. :blood

Froch's accuracy is questionable too. He had difficulty nailing a fast, live opponent (Pascal) and an opponent with a decent guard and defense (Taylor). He took more punches than he landed in the early stages of both fights. Dirrell may whoop him....for a few rounds at least

Yeah, Haye has talked a lot of ****? And? Did you have a point or are you just moaning?

Like I've said before, some people just come across as idiots when they attempt to trash talk. Haye did a great job because he got under WALDO's skin, which was part of his gameplan. Check my post history and I think you will find I'm no diehard Haye fan and I've openly posted that some of the Haye stunts have been cringeworthy.

    **** me, some people. :patsch

Yeah, as a Calzaghe fan I know full well that Froch hung off his coat-tails rather than go about proving himself. I now think he has proven himself worthy and it's nice to have British involvement in the Super 6 continuing our tradition of having World class SMW fighters.

And before the K2Ray's of this forum spit their dummy out - no I'm not a jingoistic / national pro Brit poster. :good

Mate, none of this stuff is personal, which is why I objected to your name calling the other day. It was classless, much the way Dirrell is classless.

I have no issue coming in and saying if I was wrong, I've been wrong a few times in the past two years, but my picks are usually solid. I've never picked against Froch, not because I'm a fan, but because he pulls it out every time.

I was one of the few voices criticising his performance against Taylor right after, and saying he needed to tighten up his defence, becuase he was lucky Taylor's so fragile. He pulled it out big there and he might not be so lucky again.

Whoever wins, i'll be here: two of my favourite fighters are in the Super Six (Abraham and Kessler); my favourite fighter is facing Manny Pacquaio; Mosley's fighting next year (i think); Haye's fighting Valuev; Bute and Andrade have their rematch; as do Dawson-Johnson; Pavlik-Williams; Pascal-Diaconu II and Tim Bradley vs Lamont Peterson - basically it's great to be a boxing fan with these sort of fights on.

If Dirrell wins impressively, I'll be the first to congratulate him, but I hope you'd do the same for Froch. I'll also be the first to call bull**** decisions and stoppages - I want everyone to get a fair shake of the Super Six tree.

At least confront my post directly if you've got issues with it  , it's well known Taylor isn't the biggest puncher around and he clearly hurt Froch on a number of occasions, i could argue that you implying that "Dirrell hasn't got as much power" even after he's stopped 13 out of his 18 opponants thus far is talking a lot more "crap" than i supposedly have.

I guess you can come up with a definition for the rent a louts at the fight this Saturday who will do their regulatory booing of the US national anthem:roll:
