Parkinson's happens later from repeated head trauma...Dopamine naturally declines throughout life, meaning that if you live long enough (about 120 years), you will get it...People born with less dopamine than normal and/or people that have it lowered through head trauma are the other ways people get Parkinsons...

Dirrell is suffering from symptoms common to repeated concussion syndrome, which is very different than Parkinson's...Think Troy Aikman, he doesn't slur his speach and all of his scans and tests show up normal...But, look at him wrong and he'll get a concussion...

Every boxer knows the risks involved with being a fighter. No boxer is forced to fight, so no reason to feel bad being a fan.

Isn't it sad that some posters overlooking the fact that:

March 28th Dirrell checks out of hospital post AA having passed all tests, blood works, scans, physical.
Walks around for 6 1/2 months and not ONE report of nausea, headaches, dizziness, NOTHING.
September: Dirrell says he doesn't want to fight his friend Ward, about turns when Showtime say they'll sue his ass bigtime.
October: SUDDENLY without ONE SPARRING session he has neurological problems and Dan Rafael opens his fat ****ing mouth saying his career could be over even tho it's now reported he needs to be "Symptom free" for 3 months then he can be back again.

If he fought Ward (who he doesn't want to fight) he'd more than likely lose, be out the super 6 and his next pay check will be lucky to be anywhere near 7 figures.

Add to this Abraham is being lambasted for what I can only describe as a 'clip' and being blamed for this 'injury'.

****ing astounds me that guys like you aren't even questioning this ****.

  5. Actually, he's exhibiting symptoms of vaginitis.

Neurological injuries stop boxers from getting a licenses and end careers...Not the injury to fake for a boxer...Maybe you should ask yourself differnent questions...

much more people die on building sites,or road workers.Dirrell faked it because he was well up on points and was tiring from running and may of got caught by a AA bomb.he will be fit to fight in 4 months.

What are you talking about? All he has to be is symptom free for 3 months and he's in the clear! And who's this doctor? Is it an impartial doctor asigned by Showtime?.... No, it's Shaw, his own bloody doctor!!!

You never answered any of my other points, go on, give it a go.

The only doctor that matters is the one the licensing board uses...

A boxer 'faking' a neurological condition is analogous to a school teacher saying he missed work because his 'urges' to fondle the kids were too strong that day...It's called throwing away your career...

If Dirrell said magical unicorns told him not to fight Ward you'd argue they exist wouldn't you?

I'm sorry the whole situation stinks and you still haven't answered my other points, especially - March 28th Dirrell gets the all clear post Abraham!
How did he develop his new condition? It doesn't just happen, some form of trauma is required and if the initial test was wrong why have there been ZERO reports from the Dirrell camp for 6 1/2 months???

We'll see...Neurological damage is not easily assessed and again, for a boxer, it's deadly serious...You better be sure when coming out with something like this...The same as you should be sure when accusing a boxer of faking this type of injury...And I'm not surprised his camp wasn't quick to the media with Dirrells headaches, personality changes, and memory loss'...

I'm not a big Dirrell fan, I like him but, I see his flaws too...I don't like seeing any boxer suffer from brain damage...
