i fail to understand exactly what point your trying to make...are you seriously implying that dirrell's team have invented stories of his having sustained head injuries, causing serious neurological problems, because he's afraid to fight another man in his weight category?if so,you must be a complete dolt.same as anyone who really believes that mayweather is 'scared' of pacquaio.

The OP original post ends in get well soon, but the sad thing is neurological tissue can unfortunately never be repaired. This is why we should not get pissed at fighters taking vacations, not fighting fights we want, or retiring early. It is their ****ing brain, the beautiful gray matter that allows us too perceive, breakdown, criticize their fights (and do anything else we want), that they put on the line to achieve their goals while entertaining us.

    My point? That's easy -

March 28th Dirrell checks out of hospital post AA having passed all tests, blood works, scans, physical.
Walks around for 6 1/2 months and not ONE report of nausea, headaches, dizziness, NOTHING.
September: Dirrell says he doesn't want to fight his friend Ward, about turns when Showtime say they'll sue his ass bigtime.
October: SUDDENLY without ONE SPARRING session he has neurological problems and Dan Rafael opens his fat ****ing mouth saying his career could be over even tho it's now reported he needs to be "Symptom free" for 3 months then he can be back again.

If he fought Ward (who he doesn't want to fight) he'd more than likely lose, be out the super 6 and his next pay check will be lucky to be anywhere near 7 figures.

Add to this Abraham is being lambasted for what I can only describe as a 'clip' and being blamed for this 'injury'.

You're not even questioning these facts, who's the dolt exactly?

I'm suspicious, but at the same time hope Dirrell is ok.

Both have been trying to find a way to wriggle out of this bout...if it turns out to be an excuse, it is the perfect excuse. It gets him out of the tournament, and he doesn't have to fight his 'good friend'.

I'm sorry. But don't you think if there weren't a real neurological issue, Dirrell would have opted for a more convenient lie.

Here's one. "I hurt my back". Or, Mononucleosis. Or a bad infection.
