    An incredible waste of talent.

    Amazing ability, but mentally weak.

    He still beat Carl though.

Carl was just awarded rounds on being the aggressor, even though he wasn’t having any success.

Andre let himself down badly in the last 3rd of the fight, but he’d already done enough by that stage to have deserved the win.

If you could have merged them together you’d have had some fighter.

Andre’s speed and skills, with Anthony’s power and mental strength.

    Shocking waste of talent.

He was my tip to win the Super Six.

I knew Ward would win because I am a guru of the sport.

Andre Dirrell is a perfect example of why talent alone doesn't get you far if you're not mentally tough. A young Andre Dirrell had speed and reflexes that were RJJ-like but just couldn't seem to keep it together when the going got tough.

Not in a p4p way in a physical sense
Abraham was a Elite MW but terrible at SMW
Ramirez is a huge LHW so is Gonzalez

Why is there no video of the knock out? Struggling to find anything on YouTube.

Andre had all the skills to be elite. Andre robbed himself vs Carl by being so negative in a fight where he could have dominated with his speed.
Seeing Andre in the unpaid ranks and I would have bet anything he would be champion and EASILY.
The difference between Andre and his brother? His brother has more heart and will and I hate saying that but its true.
Talent Anthony was not ever close to Andre.
I think things came so easily for Andre that when he faced a problem he did not know what to do.
