    Bute was smart.

    He knew Kessler couldnt fight because of promoter problems. Kessler called Bute first.. Way before he fought Calzaghe, and Bute ducked Kessler. Kessler never ducks any1. He goes to wales to fight calz in front of 60k. When did Bute do this?

    Another moron! Bute and Kessler had talks BEFORE Kessler had problems with Palle.

    And Bute won his belt on October 2007, one month before Kessler and Calzaghe met. Then, Kessler had a surgery to heal his hand. Tell me, smart guy, when did Kessler had time to call Bute?

    I never said it would be a walk in the park. I said it would be a tough fight for Bute until Dirrell makes a mistake. He always makes big mistakes. Against Abraham, he seemed to have changed but we all saw at the end that he couldn't follow his gameplan for an entire bout. If Abraham was able to finally reach him, Bute will for sure. Then, it will be over for Dirrell.

    Both guys are fast Dirrel may be faster and busier, Bute may be more accurate and more powerful. Bottomline, it's a ring IQ and heart matter here. Bute wins this part.

    that would be a good second fight of the year for bute, this would be a nice match up, i got say bute stops him late, those body shot of bute will slow this runner down.

    That's why, in the initial post, I ventured predicting a hard fought Bute UD. I'm probably one of the few who think Dirrell's beard isn't ridiculously bad, and I see him outlanding Bute by a slight margin. However, I see 1 or 2 KD's where Dirrell goes down. Not a close-up uppercut type deal, rather a countering left hook with all Bute's got. But Dirrell moves extremely well, and I see Bute missing in trying (often) to deliver KO-inducing blows. A lot of people see Bute TKO'ing a good, tall mover... I don't. But I don't see Dirrell doing less damage than Bute, that's the thing. Dirrell's power is sub-par.

    That's all saying both are perfectly healthy for the fight. :bbb
