When all this went down everyone was saying if he fight again in less then a year he faked it but if he's out for a while I'll believe it. Kids been out for 18 months coming off his career best win. And he would put himself on the shelf and fake and injury just cause he scared to lose to Ward?? Out of all the guys in the super six I think he had the best shot at beating Ward so I really dont think he was scared. If he did fake the injury it was because he got a little too much of his own hype and figured he'd fight the winner of the tourny when its through. Dont think he scared to get in the ring with anyone really.

Good comeback fight anyway he should take care of Demers in a round or two then hopefully he fights one of the big dogs of the division. Himvs Bute would be very interesting. And see how Kessler doesnt want the fight and Froch and Ward are busy with each other Dirrell is the next best thing.

 

No that's why I'm not running around screaming that he faked it or not like its a fact.

 

The kid aint rich and his prime will only be so long considering that he's all speed and reflexes and not really skills. You dont just stagnant your own career while its at its high and about to have the biggest fight of your career which he was very capable of winning. Doesnt make sense. I doubt he couldve afforded to lose a year and a half of his prime because of fear of a lose to a great fighter. Get real come on really think about it.
