Comeon man, it was a close fight and really could have gone either way. It wasn't like either fighter really established themselves, and Froch was the champion and hometown fighter so you had to expect the nod to go his way. Just move on already.

no it wasn't.... if the fight was ANYWHERE ELSE! besides where it was at... dirrell would have won by anywhere something like 8-4 / 9 - 3 /

I agree. Froch stinks, but Dirrell looked terrible that night.

    :-(

    Data Boxing Stats: Blows- Froch 153/475 32%, Dirrell 105/315 33%; Controls- Froch 123( 25 attacks), Dirrell 126( 29 clinches, 17 circles)

Froch was busier, landed more punches, and controlled the action while Dirrell ran.

Time to act like an adult and look at the facts.

    FROCH SPLIT DECISION WIN

Dirrell is lucky he doesn't have two losses on his record, AA was just about to stop him before he took his 50th knee of the fight.

just watched the full fight... had dirrell winning 117-110 ...some close rounds here and there but i awarded them to dirrell for clean, effective punching.... froch was just punching air alot of the times...just like that one round where froch had dirrell trapped in the corner and threw a 6 punch (more like flailing) combination and missed all of them...then dirrell rips outta no where two left hooks that land on froch's chin and staggers him back....

and to the people who claim that dirrell didn't try to win the fight towards the end...watch rounds 9-12....dirrell fough with much more aggression when he already was well ahead in my scoring...the only round i gave to froch from 9-12 is round 12....

i have a new appreciation for dirrell's skills... this kid can fight

I was wrong Dirrell won.Its hard for any fighters to get a decision against fighters who promoted by hennessy sports. Mick Hennessy exercises an unhealthy amount of influence over the sanctioning bodies and american cable broadcasters
