Haymon & Golden Boy work together, no way would they do this. He's forming his own promotional company. His career just ended. Between that uncle and grandpa of his, uhhhhg. Representing Flint pretty well...

Huuuhhhh..... I don't know what to think right at this second FFS, you're saying Dirrell's chances of being on Showtime are now nill nada zero ****in nothing.

Is Anthony getting in on this you think?

Bute-Froch for sure now, or will they come back with...... Allan Green?

Haymon was taking Dirrell's career out of the grave, and the guy goes and jumps back in the hole. Haymon's not going to pull strings for the ungrateful punk now. Dirrell's talented, but he's also like 168lb version of Derrick Gainer, who needs that? The Dirrell's really think they're something special. Amazing stuff really. I think Abraham really did hurt his head, except that his uncle and grandpa are also involved with this decision. Abraham's punch was so hard, must messed up the entire family.

Awful career move. Haymon kept Dirrell from nearly being blackballed. HBO has been done with him after the Stevens fight. Showtime was DONE with him, but the wizard managed to get him another date.

Just read an article on BadLeftHook, Dirrell is indeed going his way like Eastcoast was saying. Wow.

Good luck dealing with everything about contracts, organizing events / putting cards together from scratch.......

He should fight Librado Andrade imo

I support this decision, more money for the boxer that trains and fights.

I can see a fighter like Money Mayweather going alone and creating his own promotionnal team. He has a name and, and this the most important thing, the money to hire professionnals to get the big train on tracks. But Dirrell, who is, let's face it, a nobody who as no money and no fan attraction, starting his own promotional team and negociating whith HBO and Showtime, organizing everything, while training for boxing. That is called having a huge EGO.
