    Who cares? Dirrell represents as close to an irrelevant fighter has ever been during his prime years and notoriety. Ossie Duran. Jesus. He better fight a top 15 guy next time out or there is no hope for him.

    guy didn't fight all of 2012. i'll forgive him for this easy fight but he needs to step it up. he's got a win against abraham and imo froch.

    Honestly neither I would like to see the fight when the time is right. Dirrell is the one guy that has a chance to beat Ward

    I'm glad Dirrell is trying to stay active. He needs rounds and hopefully after this he takes some sort of step up and then looks at other contenders.

    As far as Duran as an opponent, he's pretty weak for someone like Dirrell, even a rusty Dirrell. Duran is a capable journeyman to test young fighters on but at 54 and 60 not at 68 against a top contender.

    I'd like to see someone better than Duran in there but its no big deal. I'd expect Dirrell to be back in with top fighters soon as long as he doesn't take another year off after this.

    Yeah, Dirrell isn't being put back in with a real threat any time soon.

    He's regressed to more toothless opposition than he faced in his sophomore year in the pros.
