Andre Dirrell: Too little too late?

The people trying to show how bad Dirrell is because of the Froch fight are like trying to fight a knife fighter with a knife even though there is a gun laying on the ground near you. Turn the focus to Dirrells antics with Ward and Fake injury and then see how well they debate with you.

 

I don't watch to watch those rounds or any others, no. It's just a ****, boring fight with a coward doing everything possibly to spoil. Simple as that.

And Dirrell admitted he didn't clearly win the 12th, so you can argue he did but he would disagree.

It's not detrimental at all. People who are close to the ring itself can see up close what is happening, hear certain punches land and see the true effect of a grueling fight. You don't get that from watching the fight at home. Many people on here scored the Holyfield/Valuev fight for Holyfield yet an enormous percentage gave it to Valuev and I'm inclined to believe they had it right. Something like 38 reports gave it to Valuev.

 

Absolutely. Dirrell is a person they argue should have been champion? The same guy who put in an abysmal performance on HBO, got blacklisted and basically said "**** the fans"? The same guy who fought like a coward against Froch? The one who feigned injury against Abraham? The one who lied about brain injury so he didn't have to fight his buddy?

Please.

When people like him are given world titles, the sport will be a lesser place. I have no time for him or other boxers like Alexander, who haven't shown the qualities a champion should have.

 

By the way, I still have issues with people who think Dirrell is actually talented. Athletically gifted and talented aren't the same thing. He hasn't shown much talent, I don't think. Certainly not anything like what Ward has shown. He's a decent fighter, sure, but not an exceptional one. He outboxed Abraham, yes, but it wasn't a certainty he'd win that fight. Froch did a better job outboxing Abraham.

Dirrell is a good skilled boxer no doubt but his heart and morals are highly questionable...why did he leave the Super 6 again? Was it to protect himself from losing his belt? ..or did he leave that behind??

 

does not have the heart of a fighter, not the kind of guy who would make nay fans outside his home town supporters, at least froch has made a lot of fans around the world with his balls, whereas dirrell just gets made fun of for being a ******

 

"Negative performance" for who? Froch and his supporters?

Dirrell Boxed the socks off of Froch. The fight could be disputed, but no way that is a negative performance. Dirrell then went on to Box the socks off of Arthur Abraham and possibly ruin him. Dirrell is a talent to be watched.

He is both. He is however just decent at this point with a ton of talent.

 

What point of holding, literally running, crying and falling down when Froch got close isn't negative? Seriously, I want to know. Those things are the definition of negative.

 

He's not, he's just physically gifted. What does he actually do very good technically?

He fought two guys who were absolutely perfect for him in Froch and Abraham, and he lost one and narrowly escaped against the other. He won't fight another guy who is as made to measure for him, as Froch and Abraham, apart from Andrade who isn't world class anyway. From here on in, he will be steadily exposed as being a flawed fighter.

Well we are arguing about little things.I agree Dirrel was better Boxer and will always be but I just did not see that kind of ass whipping you are labelling it. sorry. and the only Legit knock down in my book was when AA dropped Dirrel.

You seems to see Things in your way like I do my way. I mean you are saying AA Bailed out of the Fight When he was putting some serious Pressure on Dirrel and Made Dirrel Running across the ring..

I dont Think Dirrel got strong mentality for Boxing despite all the Physical Gifts he has.

 

He would only repeat his previous mistakes.

A cowards fight vs Froch.

Play acting with Abraham.

Avoiding Ward.

Quitting the Super 6.




You just can't trust him; he's like a SMW Kermit Cintron.
