    What does ESB think?

And do we have a better one coming up to challenge the Europeans?

Dirrell is a disgrace. He takes "track star" to a whole new, disgusting level.

    Andre Ward

I will never watch another Andre Dirrell fight, unless it's against somebody I know will 1) beat him or 2) rip his soul out. However, I really like his brother, Anthony. He has the same speed and reflexes that Andre has, only he is much more aggressive and twice as powerful.

Anthony has lymphoma right now. I wish him all the best and pray he is healthy enough to eventually continue with his boxing career.

Anyone kind enough to fill me in as to why Dirrell is not shown much love?:huh

Don't know anything about him, or about the other fellow...:think

Both are very gifted athletes; quick, explosive (but not too powerful), and and blessed with world-class reflexes.

But Dirrell is a runner, plain and simple. Against Curtis Stevens, he apparently thought he was Roy Jones Jr x 2, because he was literally showboating his ass off. He wouldn't sit down on a single jab, despite Stevens being completely overmatched and at a severe stylistic disadvantage. It was a disgrace - Lederman and Merchant were both disgusted.

If you look on the first page of threads in this forum, you can see several of them (one written by myself) in which people express their opinion towards Andre "The Track Star" Dirrell.

I haven't seen any of his other fights. But the Stevens one was enough for me to truly dislike him.

He's fighting Anthony Hanshaw in May. If he sits down on his punches more and doesn't showboat/taunt him as much (or make an ass of himself), I'll be willing to give him more respect.

I'm watching him fight some can named Kenny Kost on Youtube right now. He just knocked Kost down in the first round with a beautiful uppercut, straight left combo.

Andre Ward looks like a terrific prospect right now. He's showing very impressive skills, and he gets better with each fight. I'm glad that his handlers have patiently allowed him to develop during these past few years.
