Dirrell gives him trouble early on with his speed and skill, maybe more trouble than anybody has so far, but Ward overcomes him. Ward is the more complete fighter. You can see he a stronger mind, I could imagine him going into the trenches to get a victory if he had to, Dirrell seems more breakable mentally. Dirrell's undoubtedly talented though.
I agree and yes Dirrel shows weaknesses in the mental game but he has atleast been tested despite losing and being man handled at times by Froch he came back late and rallied Also unlike Ward he had the guts to go to Germany and beat a hometown guy something hardly any young american stars do Ward will finallly be tested lets see if he passes
Ya going to face Froch away from him was a tough one alright. I think he was starting to lose it a bit though in the Abraham fight before the DQ. I hope I'm wrong about Dirrell and whatever happens in the Super 6, he keeps going and takes more big fights, because he was the least experienced going into it, and could still have many good years left in him afterwards.
