Andre Dirrell Vs. Andre Ward.. Who's better??

Dirrell has loads more talent. I like him a lot more personally. Ward is decent and steady, but I don't think he's on the same level as Dirrell.

 

I disagree - I think Ward is clearly the more talented boxer, while Dirrell probably has better physical gifts.

Would be an interesting matchup though.

 

I like Dirrell more.

He seems more fit for the pro's.

 

right now direll has done more but i believe that at the end of their careers ward will retire the greater of the 2

 

Being a better boxer is SKILL not TALENT. Talent is what comes naturally. Skill is what you work on. I agree that Ward is more skillful than Dirrell, but at the end of the day he's going to have some problems because he lacks quickness or agility.

 

Andre Dirrell obviously... This isn't even debatable.

 

I like Dirrell.

 

Andre Ward would KO Roy jones light. and this is very debatable. Ward seems like a more Solid Fighter.

 

Dirrell is far more talented than Ward.

Ward.. he does everything good, but he doesn't do anything great. A "jack of all trades, master of none" type of fighter.. He doesn't have star potential like Dirrell

 

Andre Ward is nothing special, people... He certainly isn't on Dirrell's level..

 

agreed to a certain extent... i mean, its just too early to saying whos got star potential or not.

dirrells speed obviously stands out the most between the 2, but i like wards overall game better.

and besides, its oakland town bidness over here.

 

This isn't about talent its who wins now. you know Michael Grant had a lot of talent. Ward owns Dirrell if they fight now and perhaps later if Dirrell doesn't develop right.

Those of you saying Dirrell is far more talented, WTF are you smoking? Ward is a super solid prospect himself. I would give Dirrell a slight nod because he faced slightly better comp but Ward has the talent also.
