    Here is my official prediction,

Many on here are already putting their mortgage on Froch to take this but there is other factors that might play a part in this fight.

I truly believe and see Dirrell taking the fight to Froch and actually beating him at his own game when he realises just how easy it will be to actually hit Froch with his laser fast punches. I can see him opening up a cut on Froch and then the fight will turn in Dirrell's favour. People on here sometimes forget to consider things like cuts or clashes of heads or even dirty tactics that happen in fights. I see Froch getting cut early and wont be able to see the punches coming and with Dirrell's fast hands and good footspeed and movement Froch I believe will be stopped in the latter part of the fight.

There is only so much Froch's chin can take and I believe that Froch will be stopped in his hometown.

Both Pascal and Taylor won the first 5 or so rounds, then got tired and made the mistake of trading right infront with Froch who has a very rangy decent jab.

Dirrell needs to box. Froch isnt as good coming forward. He likes to jab and counter. Stick that jab, turn Froch, and unleash combos when he gets close, then slip away. If his conditioning is good, which it should be doing 8 weeks of camp in Big Bear, he should win a wide UD.

And you're from the UK??? OMG! The nuthuggers are comin' for you. I agree with you, Dirrell will be too much for Froch. He will not run out of gas like Jermaine did. Time for Carl to be DE-froched!

IMO, Dirrell has fast and accurate hands but his footwork is not so good. He moves way too far or too close of his opponent. A good footwork is to move as little as possible. Dirrell sometimes looks like a young deer.

I'm sure Froch will learn from the Dirrell-Hanshaw fight, who was putting effective pressure on Dirrell and made him look bad at times. I think Dirrell may be too green to win this fight, especially in Notingham. He has fought only twice over 7 rounds. How is his conditioning? His chin? A lot of questions unanswered because his resume is not a solid one. We all know Froch's weaknesses, but from his 2 last fights we also know his strengths. I think Dirrell won't be able to unable Froch to use his strengths for the whole fight.

First time I pick Froch to win a big fight.

dirrell is so green that anyone w/o froch's flaws and w/ his experience should be able to beat him right now. ive seen some of his fights and his footwork aint the best and his d is spotty...

but the way froch hangs his chin over his lead foot, keeps his hands around his waist, and doesnt move laterally...he should be target practice for someone w/ dirrell's athleticism.

    dirrell UD

This fight is a huge step up for Dirrell and the guy has looked decent against journey men and cans so I have to roll with Froch on this.

Froch takes him in to trenches controls him with a long jab and hurts him badly with the hard right straight down the middle.

Dirrell has talent but is VERY Inexperienced ....Who has he Fought
    NOBODY!!!!!
Looking impressive against Limited journeymen mens nothing
this will come in to play in the fight !!!!
its okay to say he is faster than froch ......Most peeople are
Froch has a slow workrate but is strong and gets stronger in late rounds
which dirrell is not used too????
dirrell may win a few rounds early on but froch will wear him down
dirrell has never faced anyone as rough and tough as froch and may be a
    shock to him:deal
ask taylor ......a skilled experienced boxer who has fought WORLD CLASS FIGHTERS and still couldn't take frochs power in late rounds:deal

    FROCH KO 8 or 9

Froch will do well in this tournament......I Don't think he will win !!!!!!!

he will get beat by kessler/abraham
But he is Big and strong 168lb 'er who does have KO POWER
which scores a 2 Points Win

you're a proven Froch hater and you have no clue on any aspects of boxing so I thought your prediction would be similar to this.

I could go with you all day, you're clueless......oh wait you're from Essex that explains everything:good

    Froch 116-111 (with a KD).

Too much too soon for Dirrell. Nottingham is going to be an intimidating place for a youngster like him to go against such a physically imposing guy as Froch.

I might have picked Dirrell if this had of been in the States.
