What makes you think the winner of Inkin-Balzsay will fight Dirrell or Ward?

Well Dirrell was rated #7 by the WBO, and since he won the WBO title eliminator he's probably rated #3 right now, Jermain Taylor is rated #2 by the WBO

Well, you jester, you obviously dont have a clue what you are talking about.
I stem from Belarus.Last time our national squad met the best boys who represented the American flag your country got a beating by my tiny Belarus.
Just for you I am going to repeat it very slowly: the Belarussian national box team beat the "mighty" American team.:D

You are entitled to your opinion, tcw!

Of course I totally disagree with you. Black Americans used to dominate the pro business for quite a long time due to the fact that there was no competition from other relevant parts of the world.
If the fighters of the countries of the former soviet union had been allowed to turn pro they would have dominated almost every weight division for ages.

You are also wrong in saying that amateur boxing means zero. In most parts of the world amateur boxing is far more important than pro boxing.

Ask yourself why a great amateur like Gaidarbekov has never turned pro whereas a poor fighter like Lacy has. As you may know Gaidarbekov kicked Lacy's ass in the American 's last amateur fight taking him out in that fight.
There are great fighters in countries like Ukraine,Russia,Cuba,Uzbekistan,China, and so on who have never turned pro.

Pro boxing is only big in countries like England,Japan, the USA,Mexico, and Germany.

99.999 % of the population of Belarus-for example-has never heard of De la Hoya or Riddick Bowe,or Chavez, or .................. .

Denis Inkin has been moved so slowly by his promoters. He isn't fighting with much hunger any more. He used to be precise, skilled and methodical. Now he's just a plodder because they left it too late.

Inkin was just the piece on the chess board to get a world super middle title. Universum are feeding him straight to Balzsay. Balzsay is 29 and has no time to waste, but he will waste Inkin. And if he does, he's a world class fighter.

Andre Dirrell's a very strange fighter. Apparently he had problems when Oganov backed him up. That would suggest not only that he'd be in a struggle with Inkin, but that - if Balzsay becomes WBO champ - Dirrell will not be quite (yet?) in his league.

Also, there's no way his promtoer Gary Shaw is going to send him to Germany to get beaten or risk getting beaten. Balszay is skilled, a southpaw, and has one punch KO power. Can Shaw win purse bids vs German powerhouse Universum?

Dirrell is coming along well - 3 very eye opening stoppage wins in a row. However, he never looks very good until the KO punch comes, does he? Very fast and talented, but I'm not sure he's in control of his talent.

Balzsay is brutally efficient, and could waste Inkin AND Dirrell next year.

The showtime heads were talking about Dirrell-Inkin as soon as he blasted out Oganov. They usually don't plant seeds for things like that unless they feel it's either in the process or they WANT it to be in the process.

I think Showtime would be a great landing spot for this kind of fight.
