    Dirrell seem to be having some trouble with the southpaw stance. DeGale got the better of this round.

    DeGale is circling in a wide spotlight's glow around Dirrell, cutting to his right and then dashing in with a left hand lead. Dirrell is throwing quick right jabs up from the hip, singles and doubles, lunging with the left cross to chase DeGale out. A few wooly exchanges, both scrubbing each other across the back as they spin and twist into each other with their misses and grazing blows. DeGale pushes free and ducks a 1-1-2 expertly, rising off to Dirrell's left and getting a bead with his own jab. DeGale squats reflexively as Dirrell wails down with an overhand left, and takes it on the shoulder. Jab and fishing rod left by DeGale, whipping Dirrell behind the ear.
