    Dirrell, like many athletic fighters has a bad habit of keeping one hand low. They're always open to getting hit with big punches. DeGale himself doesn't have very good habits either.

    Dirrell is out-jabbing Dirrell on the outside and keeping the left arm folded vertically against his face as he does so, then stepping in with a big left uppercut on the body, recoiling into his defensive posture responsibly when done. Dirrell is jabbing out at nothing, creeping forward. DeGale is moving clockwise, ostensibly the man in retreat and yet with a confident and predatory air. Dirrell is afraid to do anything more than double a flash jab in the air or take more than one sliding-step forward. DeGale hurts Dirrell again with a counter left as Dirrell mistimes his circling.
