    A lot of close rounds here... Degale has got the 10-7 but the close rounds could well have taken that out of play... Especially on the road...

    Dirrell is whirling in place, camped out in center ring as DeGale roams around him, switching his stance every few steps. Both feel out range with jabs. BIG left hand by DeGale. Combos now put together, backing Dirrell into the ropes with fast right hook slashing in from shoulder-height into Dirrell's cheek with more clubbing lefts behind them. Dirrell shrinks down into a tight ball on bent knees and then grabs while sitting on the ropes. Dirrell cut on the cheek. DeGale is shimmying at mid-range, gloves dangling by his knees, mojo up, feeling it. Dirrell is waiting now as DeGale comes in low and puts up an exploratory jab. Dirrell counters with a left. BIG right hook by DeGale. Dirrell hurt and flurrying back hard in the pocket.
