Yet, he arguably lost to Dirrell.

    Go figure right?

Be interesting to hear Frochs views on this fight given that he beat Taylor by an absolute ball hair in their fight.

Dirrell did really well after the KD but right guy won. DeGale was very hesitant to jump in cause of Dirrell's sharpness. I dunno if he could beat Dirrell again.

DeGale is really impressive. He's smooth and great combinations when he lets his hands go.
The only thing I didn't like was that he takes a lot of rounds off. He has to stop that, maybe improve stamina.

I know Froch didn't fight him earlier, but I wonder if he'll be tempted to fight him now.

You said, "if the fix was in..." as if to imply that should Dirrell win or the fight be a draw, that the result was bogus and you would have a preemptive excuse built in to whine about (not that it is your behavioral pattern at all, IB, but nonetheless that's how I took it). Your RBR (not your scoring, but commentary) read biased in favor of DeGale.

Logical explanation all the way around friend.

I could see a 116-110, but there's no way you don't give Dirrell rounds 7-10. I thought those were extremely clear.

I mean, even now, Ward is still head and shoulders above everyone else at SMW.

The only rounds which i have doubt in were the 5th and 11th, who did you guys score them for? I scored the 11th for DeGale and would probably the 5th could go both ways. But overall DeGale landed the cleaner shots, a lot of Dirrells shots were blocked or he got out of range.

DeGale showed in the first 4 rounds that he was elite, but after that.

I went for a pee, Dirrell whine for rematch yet?

...can Dr. Shaw-Hi actually treat him for advanced-stage butt-hurt or must he refer him to a specialist? :think

DeGale standing back like he did probably helped out a bit. What matters is that both brothers of annoyance is now out of the picture :p

On a sidnote, I think Andre Dirrell proved himself as a fighter against AA. He missed out on the "protect yourself at all times"-part, but normally fighters doesn't throw full KO'swings at opponents on the canvas, so the blame sticks with AA.
