    Just to clarify some terminology:

Dive: the loser is complicit, maybe tanking for pay when approached by the winner's promoter. The winner isn't necessarily in on it, and probably isn't.

Fix: everybody involved - or at least the key people (both combatants and their handlers) work out a prearranged outcome. Everybody knows what's going to happen before it does, like in pro wrestling.

Robbery: the judges screw the rightful winner, either due to ineptitude or corruption. Neither the winner nor loser is necessarily aware of it.

Wasn't meaning to condescend, you just did the same thing NS originally did and mistook the conversation between me and the guy I originally quoted as being about the possibility of DeGale getting robbed. What he was suggesting was that DeGale was tanking it - losing intentionally per a prearrangement. I mean, that isn't just a niggling matter of semantics, they are two completely different things!

    That's all.:good

    Round 2

Rodriguez is keeping the heat on Baker. Lots of blocking and plodding around the ring from Baker, his spine kissing the uppermost ropes. Rodriguez is just pecking with the jab, looking for spots, taking his time. A few light jabs from Baker as he steps wide to navigate corners.

    10-9 Rodriguez

    20-18 Rodriguez
