Wrong, never was #1. Closest was 2-3. :hi:

    I'll continue to wait. :nod

He was always behind Floyd and Bernard in the early 2000's  on the p4p list. :thumbsup

Even after Floyd retired in 2007, the title just went to Manny, Joe was still in the backseat. :yep

:nono Only in Ring comic that had Broner at number 5 about a year back.

In the quintessential boxing experts list he was clear number 1 with no close second.

Plus journeyman Hatton was well on his way to doing it until Joe Cortez threw him into the turnbuckle.

    :patsch

If the Ring was so biased towards Americans, then why did Manny get that acclaim as best fighter after Floyd retired?

Fact is: Joe was never #1, never was and never will be and I like him!!!

    He was #3. :nod

Maybe because he trained with an American. Lennox Lewis might as well be an American boxer. He's a citizen of so many countries anyway.

Give me a time when Lennox was actually p4p #1, give me some proof.

    It was always Whitaker/Chavez/Roy. :thumbsup
