No way in hell ward blows out dirrell like he did kessler and greene! I think the fight will be close.... In the end I think ward will take it. :good
I think Bute wins in a close fight. Bute SD for me. Dirrel has got the skills to win this one if he's focused.
:deal I'm going to make a NICE piece of change if this fight ever goes down. I don't get the hype with Bute.
What hype? Every day a poster starts a thread in which many other bash Bute. Where is the hype? :think I take Bute over Dirrell. Bute's combination of skills is complete: power, footspeed, handspeed, timing, accuracy, ring IQ and willingness. He has an excellent coach too. Bute is serious, dedicated and harworking. He learns between each of his fights. He will be prepared for Dirrell when they face eachother. Dirrell looked good against the small and slow Abraham. Don't think a fight against Bute will look the same.
bute has the skills froch thinks he has. i think bute wins a close but clear fight with a possible late knockout.
Dirrel,l all day. Dirrell, would box circles around Bute. Dirrell, is alot faster and he will beat Bute to the punch all night and bust him up and win a WIDE UD!!!
Direll IS NOT and won`t be soon a champion so let`s say the people the truth: Direll will beg Bute for a fight on HBO. People can guess for themselves the location and the result.
Yeah, very lucky punch, like those he defeated with Andrade and Miranda one after one in less than a third of a match each, isn`t it?
I don`t want to argue on the first Andrade fight despite was demonstrated Bute won legally.Let`s say the mexican , morally won.But how many round took he in two matches 2 from 16.And was not TKO-ed but Ko-ed in four rounds in the rematch. The people who still push on the first fight are clearely haters. And for you listen: Bute`s the longest continuing time keeper of a belt at SMW and undefeated:hi:
Dirrell has less power, but that is obsolete due to his advantages in athleticism, speed, accuracy and his natural ability to throw straighter punches, therefore nullifying Bute's power advantage, as Dirrell beats him to the punch then swiftly circles out of harm's way all night long. Bute is a very fluid fighter, as is Dirrell, but Dirrell has apparently added several tricky intricacies recently to his arsenal, making his polished style somewhat of a jive language that Bute will never understand as would be demonstrated by the confused look on his face throughout the night. As far as power goes, Bute has more, but Dirrell CAN hurt, as well as drop, guys that are known for their strong chins as we have seen in his Super Six performances. While I see Dirrell winning something like a 116-112 type of UD, in Bute's defense, he ABSOLUTELY is capable of landing that momentum shifting, outcome changing punch! He has power somewhat comparable to Froch and Abraham, but with a MUCH better chance of making it a factor (in other words, landing a big shot). Though Bute KO'd Miranda in three, Miranda presented a difficult, though uncharacteristic, style nonetheless, which Bute had a bit of difficulty figuring out before bailing himself out early with a well timed punch that Dirrell would have NEVER dove straight into it the way Miranda did. I don't put TOO much stock into fighter's resumes the way the majority of the wonderful folks of ESB do (I see it as a "that was then, this is now" kind of thing). But for those picking Bute and who tend to put a lot of emphasis into resumes,....I'd keep the resume comparisons on the hush-hush in your arguments for this particular matchup. Both fighter's main concerns are to stay focused, avoid mental lapses and don't gas in the final rounds. Despite any other aspect in the breakdown of this matchup, these three factors are the ones that will decide the outcome.
Dirrell shouldn't count on picking Bute apart the way he picked Froch apart(damn straight he did, keep your delusions to yourself) and Abraham apart (cut and dry). But he is capable of making adjustments. Maybe it's just me, but Bute seems nothing more than the same old Bute he always was, while Dirrell has shown tremendous improvement in his still budding career, along with his newfound mental approach over the last year alone. I fully expect to see even yet another major improvement to Dirrell's gameplan, mental toughness, ability to handle adversity and who knows what's next in his bag of tricks that we haven't seen up until now. Abraham received his notice late, leaving him with no time to learn jive. And don't forget, besides being younger, he's still improving. Bute? None that I've noticed.
