Not agree. If we compare Bute in 2008 and Bute now, we can say that he is bigger, has more power, better head movement, and he is also better in taking the distance and managing the fight. His lasts KOs came in earlier rounds And it is not because he had don't fight a slick boxer that we can already said: He will have some problems. Ward will be the first slick for Dirrell. Dirrell is a little faster than Bute, but we know now that Bute has the power and the precision for him and he can stop him with only one shot, to the body or the head.
Bute's dangerous, but Dirrell's better. If Dirrell can avoid getting KTFO he beats Bute, probably by a schooling, same as he beat Froch.
Bute is excellent at picking certain shots for poor defense or over-aggressive guys. There are a lot of shots he loves I think he'd have a very hard time landing on Dirrell because Andre wouldn't present him with the opportunity. But, I'd consider it a toss-up fight for now, until we see how things progress a little more with them.
I love seeing that posters under rate Bute's talent and assets. Too many just think Bute is mostly about power and body shots..... The man has great skills and is very much above average in finding his range in the ring. He's accurate and has under rated timing. Timing is the key to overcoming speed ! Bute beats Dirrell in a great tactical fight.
All comes down to ONE point and I don't think no one has mentioned in this thread and that is Bute's stamina. Bute did not get in enough work against Miranda 2(obviously he did not have too) and he looked incredible against Andrade 2. If Bute's stamina issues, at least it was evident in ANdrade 1 have been worked out, Direll will be in for a long night. I am not exactly sure if Bute will be the first southpaw Direll has faced. Bute in a m or Split decision.
I mentioned it. I mentioned that one of the major factors in determining the outcome of this one is who can avoid gassing out in the final rounds. That goes for both of them.
