Andre Dirrell vs Lucian Bute

Prior Andrade's 1st fight Bute was known for is superior Stamina! that's how he beat Bika!

The only reasons Bute's fights doesn't take long anymore it's because he is decicatate to the sport and he know everybody is dangerous! so he prepare and give it all !

If people take time too look at Bute's fights he could see that it's him who stronger in the late rounds! Judging Bute stamina with Andrade fight is a big mistake!

 

People who picked Bute really don't know a goddamn thing about boxing. Heres why:

Bute has been matched with average opponents that pose no threat mentally, stylewise or otherwise.

The honest reality here is Dirrell is it. He is the best Super Middleweight in the World.

Dirrell in his first 2 fights in the S6 handed beatdowns and schoolings to 2 fighters Bute wouldnt dare step in the ring with.

Bute would be better matched against Jermain Taylor or Allen Green.

Bute never wanted to fight anyone before the tourney and it sure as **** won't change after the tourney. Bet the farm.

Bute at night dreams of being as smart, as fast, and as skilled as Andre "The Matrix" Dirrell.

Dirrell beats Bute 99/100 times and makes Bute look like a drunken fool while he amazes us with his greatness.

Bute just aint this good, nor is he close to this good.

Nice to see you on a boxing forum!

You are a good boxer with great abilities But you need need to understand something!

It's not the fact that your are in the S6 that make you a top dog in the divisions because the best boxers of the SMW are not all facing each others!

You could be great by running in circle aroud Ward like you will do! but it won't make you a ATG but just another runners who's thinking he got all the speed to overcome anybody!

FFS you already lost to Froch who got no movements and you thinking about beating Bute who hit harder, move better and is smarter then the Cobra ?

You should be focus on your next fight that will probebly be fix like a WWE fight! the only reasons you will be winning that fight it's because Ward is already in the semi's!

 

Only thing missing now...is Buttbanger & company coming to make their irrefutable glass jaw comments...in front of millions watching around the world...

 

The fight was supposed to be cancelled after being diagnosed with anemia and a very low red blood cell count, which was a few weeks following food poisoining, but Bute insisted the fight was still made and managed to convince his team.

 

Oh yea? Bute? The same guy who got beat the **** down by a gatekeeper named Andrade and needed to fight him twice because we all know he lost Bute? The same Lucian Bute that has really never challenged himself in the ring and doesnt really want to. He and Felix Sturm are no different. He didn't want to fight a live body before the tourney and he won't afterwards. He may fight the guy who finishes last, he sure as **** aint fighting the winner.

Bute does have a good range of skills and a good sense of timing but he's no Dirrell.

Perhaps I'll change my opinion of Bute when he fights a guy that possess a decent ****ing jab for christsakes.

 

IDK, this would actually be a good fight. Bute hasn't fought the opposition Dirrell has faced and you can make the case Dirrell beat Froch narrowly, but Bute does seem to have the firepower advantage and he does seem to have the speed to catch Dirrell eventually. I still don't think Bute is smart enough to break down Dirrell and will make mistakes going after Dirrell and Dirrell might take advantage on those mistakes. I'm still curious as to whether Bute still does have those stamina issues. I wouldn't rule out a draw, it also depends where it would take place, obviously:roll:, but I like Dirrell to take command late in the fight after running from Bute the first half. I think Dirrell by SD.

 

Yes Bute the guy that easily won at least 10 out of 12 rounds in the 1st Andrade fight, even if his red blood count was scarily low and his tank was empty before the fight even started.

Bute challenged and / or fought more legit top 10 guys at 168lbs than any of the other guys in the Super 6, except Kessler, prior to the tournament starting. Everyone now knows his options are limited until the first guys get eliminated... Bute not wanting to fight a live body is some of the biggest bull**** spread on this site...

I really like Dirrell and he has some awesome skills, although I think his mental makeup is his downfall...but I might change my mind if he stops acting like a freightened deer every now and then when faced with adversity in the ring

 

Your joking right? Bute is a hell of a fighter but his claim to fame is beating Andrade, the king of the zombies. Abraham his a full class ahead of Andrade and the rest of Bute's opponents and although Froch is not one of my favorites I am convinced he would beat every opponent Bute has faced thus far.

 

I think Dirrell's speed would be problematic for Bute, but when Lucian lands, I dont have much faith in Dirrell's chin holding up.

I'm just sayin...

it's a bad style match up for bute...and even for most other boxers... dirrell is a gifted kid.

Bute would have to have some ideas. ....ideas and traps set for the bout.

not jabs and feints... but a whole package of a process... luring dirrell into and up and close exchange...and to have a certain counter and wham in the midst of it all.

playing chess with dirrell would be his demise... I think even the canadians can agree upon that

despite what the haters say about Andre... he is godamn entertaining to me... a true merit to the sport.
