    Seriously.

Froch may not have all the tools fighters like Dirrell, and Bute have but he has enough all-around skill, stamina, and power to really **** Butes world up.

    Things to consider:
Your vision on Bute is clouded by the fact that Bute hasnt really had any style matchup that has posed a threat, ever. Cmon man, Andrade, and Miranda are really tailor made for Bute. Aside from that Andrade and Miranda are average punchers at best. Bute does have above average skill, so its only an obvious result when Bute steps over Miranda or Andrade. It's not that big of a victory for a world champion to have.

    Part of this is because:

Bute and/or Interbox don't want threatening style matchups against any top fighter or champion. They just don't. If they wanted them Bute would've fought Jean Pascal by now. Oh yea thats right, they're both promoted by Interbox. Of course it's more profitable having two champions instead of one. But Interbox don't have much other than Bute or Pascal. Bute was offered a spot in the Super Six and turned it down. Whats that tell you? Perhaps what we knew before the tourney: That Bute doesnt want the biggest fights in the division. After the tourney this won't change.

Really I'm probably more of a Bute fan than a Froch fan. But Froch has been improving since the start of the S6.

Man where did you take your flawed info, they are not both promoted by Interbox, Pascal is with GYM, Pascal was nothing before his lost to Carl Froch. Froch don't really have good all-arount skill and finally Bute was not invited and its easy to find info about this, They wanted 3 americans nad 3 europeans.

"IBF champion) Lucien Bute was not invited (to participate)''

Ohh and Miranda is an average puncher....?? I think this discussion is over....

Bute tko in a close, close fight. Dirrell would be in and out but he's there to be hit if you can. Bute can counter with power and I believe Dirrell will be caught too many times by crisp shots. Andre may actually be ahead when the knock out happens, IMO.

Interbox did everything but tell Showtime to go **** themselves before the tourney. By the start of the tourney Interbox was already taking it in the ass by HBO. Son get your facts straight.

Interbox does not want big names, they just want HBO. Is there anything about this you don't understand?

I'm really not trying to be rude but for ****sake I was a big Bute fan a few years ago and just gave up after realizing what I've stated to you. Bute is all Interbox has and once Bute is gone the crooked *******s at Interbox will be eating cat food and ramen noodles. My only hope is that HBO forces a good fight upon Bute. But again this is difficult as the best fighters at the weight are Showtime fighters at least for now.

If Interbox was a halfway decent promoter they would be trying to match Diaconu with Shumenov.

Ken Hershman himself stated that Bute wasn't invited as the above poster stated.

lol calling Miranda an average puncher. Miranda, Berrio, Zuniga, Bika are all have top power at 168.

What's with all these people acting like Dirrell has a big handspeed advantage?

Watch the 15 second Flurry vs Berrio at 4:25. (The whole HL is great)

Not sure what you mean? Past it as a fighter, okay. Doesn't say anything about Bute's handspeed which was what that was meant to show. Also doesn't take away from the fact that he can punch like a mule which Bute had no problem taking.

OMG I almost died when I read this .... umm and that video of Bute the best body punchers had a collection of stiffs and hanging beef carcases from the first Rocky movie in it.. The first min of the video is time wasted that ill never get back... Bute is nice.. I like him.. I also like David Lemeuix but thats another post.. Bottom line Bute will get some decent shots off on Dirrell but Dirrell boxes beautifully, uses a gameplan, counters to keep Bute off of him.. Most importantly Jabs and counters Bute to death... Movement will be key and Dirrell is moving to get out the way of those nasty Bute body shots I can see all night.. If Dirrell Gets Bute hurt its curtans... Same for Bute.. If he can Hurt Dirrell then its a good chance he can stop him.. However good luck finding Dirrell clean, hitting him without getting ****en shot with a counter you don't see..

So now we have a bunch of insiders telling us what INTERBOX wants for Bute...

SHOWTIME didn't ever want Bute in the tournament....anything unclear about that ?

Bute fought everyone that was willing to face him up to now ! Allan Green told him no thanks..twice.

The Hennessy team (Carl Froch) elected to pass on an eliminator fight against him for the right to fight in an IBF title match.

Who was Andre Dirrell before the tourney ? Same with Andre Ward...

I'm glad the Super 6 made these guys known cause they're great but let's not jump to early conclusions with Bute, cause he was doing more to earn respect than most in the division, prior to that tournament kicking off, which never intended to give him his chance anyways...

I agree. If Dirrell has quicker hands, it certainly isn't enough to be decisive.
