How do you think this fight goes?

Personally I think Calzaghe pisses it.

Dirrell wouldnt be able to keep Calzaghe away from him, and I think Joe wouldn't respect his power and would just swarm him. Andre needs his distance and I think would'nt be able to stay calm if Joe was all over him.

I actually think Joe might have gotten a stoppage here

Calzaghe wins. Dirrell would struggle to deal with Calzaghe's engine each and every round good footwork and speed and aggression i could see him unraveling late on and throwing wobbler's and becoming negative.

Once Joe warms up and finds his range and rhythm he would dent any belief Dirrell had.

This. His engine and workrate would see Dirrell opting out late on IMO.

Dirrells power isn't great anyway, just ask Bumski Scoffanob or whatever his name is.

I rarely debate on these type things beacause of my avatar and my obvious favouritism. But I couldn't skip past this one.

Joe does everything that Dirrell does better and he also does things that Dirrell can't do i.e. adapt.

Joe picks up the stoppage by the mid rounds. Think it would be similar to the Sheikh fight.

He buzzed him there's a difference between that and having a man on ***** street. He caught him and shocked the system of him but look how quick he recovered.

Dirrell never really discouraged AA from coming forward unlike Froch. He did floor him but that was more in transition and AA getting exposed for a schoolboy error.

Before reading the responses to this thread, I could have told you that at least one person with a JC avatar will predict that Calzaghe stops Dirrell!

Please tell me one person that Calzaghe has stopped that is anyone as good as Dirrell?

Now, I'm not a Dirrell fan by any means (even though I think he beat Froch.. just) but the guys clearly got skill.

No way of proving anyone right obviously but I actually think Dirrell would pick Calzaghe to pieces. Joe doesn't have enough power to get Andre's respect enough and his footwork way faster.

Prime Calzaghe (Lacy/Kessler fight) schools him to a late stoppage/wide UD.

Younger Calzaghe (Eubank fight) stops him by mid rounds imo.

Dirrell is a fustrating talent who may never prove how good he could be.

Once Calzaghe figured him out it would only be a matter of time before Dirrell quit on his stool or tried to get himself cut and look to steal a technical decision.

He'll never go into the trenches and have a fistfight.

Ran like a girl against a lacklustre Froch, quit against Abraham.

Didn't fancy it against Ward and faked a neurological injury to get out of the fight.

Those are the facts - yet he's planning a comeback :patsch

    Some brain injury......

Calzaghe, the man with such unorthodox foot movements that B-Hop didn't know what to do?

Calzaghe has massive stylistic advantages over Dirrell, and massive stylistic differences to the three straight-on plodders he has fought. Oganob, Froch and Abraham.

How good did he look against Average Anthony Hanshaw?

Dirrell has some quality attributes, but is not that good really. He has too Kant glaring weaknesses.

Joe always found a way to win. Andre's never met a guy with his foot movement and adaptblity. Each round you'd never know what Joe would do and how he'd box. At time's he'd make mistakes and i'd be bold enough to say Dirrell may of dropped Joe with a counter early doors when Joe got over eager but Joe would walk through his shots imo and land and mentally break a weak weak human being.

Joe had fantastic timing and rhythm and was so hard to stop once he got going and i don't see Dirrell dealing with his onslaught's. Froch and AA's footwork would make mine look like PBF's....

Dirrell isn't great under pressure when at mid-short range and no doubt in my mind Joe would breach the gap.
