Serious question - what has Dirrell done, or shown, to be even considered as one of the top dogs at SMW? Without the Super Six, Dirrell wouldn't even be on most people's radars, and what has he done in the Super Six? Lost to Froch (although made it very close) and gained a DQ victory over AA - who has literally done sod all at SMW apart from get exposed. So, why the high praise for this bum currant?
Serious question? Ok so Olympic bronze medallist goes 17-0 (with 13 knockouts) through the prospect stage of his career. Then frustrates one of the top boxers in the division in Carl Froch away from home only to drop a close decision (and run away like a ***** for most of it, I'll give you that). Then completely toys with one of the then favourites for the S6 in Arthur Abraham. Even knocks him down. Ok then continued to run a bit and appeared to buckle under a bit of pressure and maybe look for an easy way out. Dirrell as a person, seems like a twat. But as a boxer, he's got skills there's no denying that.
This means very little. Didn't impress against Oganov and was floored against Hanshaw. He does have some skills; far outweighed by his deficiences as a fighter.
