Ive been watching Dirrell since way back and im convinced.. He's much better than his brother IMO... He can beat Froch and Bute right now...

Him and Allan Green are the ones at 168..

for minute their shotime was focusing on anthony as he has more power but as soon as he got sick with that cancer Andre caught a break.

i think allan green won't be able to handle Kessler same with andre.

i think if Ward is moved along right he could get Kessler in about 3-4 years and catch him on the slide. but untill then all get beat. IMO

IT's stupid to question his resume...

He fought some worthy opponents like Stevens, Hanshaw, and Oganov who was being hyped as some white tyson or some ****..lol

He's being brought along just fine..

Friday night was the first time I've really hated a Dirrell opponent. That's the kind of guy you fight in your 2nd year as a pro, not your 5th year.

Anyway, I have high hopes for him. He looks to be taking his career more seriously, and I think he's ready for someone like Manfredo. And then to a Bika, then for a big name.

just like delahoya fighting cooley after trinidad huh? ... or tyson taking on mcneely after prison .. or foreman fighting the 5 for 5 dollar bums in one day... oh yeah it's utterly insane for a fighter to take an easy fight as a 5th year pro ... i mean holmes beating up on 10-0 marvin fraizer was totally not a planned shell shocking ..

now lets stop the train ..i know you bleeding ****s are gonna come back going "and you compair dirrell to holmes bwahaha roflmao " ..calm the **** down nobody is compairing anybody to anybody .. i'm just saying fighters take easy fights sometimes ..it's just what they do !!!

I have less of an issue with the fight than I do that it was a headliner for a ShoBox card. Dirrell's people need to be smarter than that. He needs to continue building momentum, and that fight did nothing for him at all.

Once again, David Banks (his original opponent) pulled out two weeks before the fight. Findley was a fill in and probably the only guy who'd take the fight on two weeks notice unfortunately.

If he's still fighting Findley types by this time next year I'll agree with you. Until then I'll say he's doing a solid job slowly building to bigger fights.
