Actually, I agree - it was a DQ foul, no question, and I also think the poor ******* didn't know he was completely down.

My point was that Dirrell could have put the hands up... the swing AA made was enough for hands up, and there was also time between the slip and swing. I guess Dirrell wasn't expected to get clipped while being down... a ****ed up incident.

So you just think he will only hold his metaphorical world title for the same amount of time as Alex Arthur held a real one? Oh good, now I understand...:|

Anyone who say Dirrell hasn't got skills, they really need to watch more boxing.

Clearly he is quite skillful, However no one likes watching a runner.

    I guess that's his style......

EMEA?? EMEA stands for Europe, Middleeast, Africa...

So in your opinion European guys are biased. Now that is a biased opinion if I ever heard one.
Now you refer to me as European. I recent that as I am from Denmark. We are bitter when our boxers loose?? Again with the bias: "All Europeans (made up catagory) are bitter when their boxers loose." Yeah right. According to who? You? Well I'm glad you're no authority on the subject then...

One of the most biased posts I have seen in a while, Dirrell has no skills then I guess everyone in the Super 6 can go home cos they are going to lose to a skillless Fighter. Jack u are a hater and will always be one. All of you were predicting AA was going to crush him in the fight and that he was going to run out of the ring, guess what he knock AA down 2ce and that why AA had to DQ himself like the spineless whimp that he is. So much for ur King AA

Abraham did try to open up in the 3rd and 4th rounds, and got his ass blistered.

While it is true that AA often gives away the early rounds, in the Dirrell fight he did not look like he was giving anything away. He looked like he was getting his ass kicked, and he started to look like a beaten fighter as early as the 5th.

I think he's not so much being overrated...it's more of the fact that only a few people really thought anything of him when this tournament started, and now he's beaten the favorite. Obviously his supporters are going to be exultant and think he's the next big thing. Reality is that he's got a lot of work to do, and with his mentality...I don't think he's going to get there.

You can have the skill, but not the fighter's heart and mind. Some great fighters have gone a long way on just the fighter in them, either developing the skill as they went or never developing them at all and succeeding in spite of it. I don't know too many great fighters who were such obvious bitches and eventually turned into killers. Feel free to enlighten me if I'm wrong though...

Uh oh. Dumbass Jack at it again. Just a little history lesson for those of you that dont know who this clown is. Him and his limey lackies Cobbler, David UK and some other ****ers picked Dirrell to get smashed against both Froch and Abraham. Now that it shows how little this idiots know about boxing of course they are gonna hate.

This dude once claimed that Pavlik would beat Mayweather, of course I owned his dumbass in that thread to and he ran out with his tail between his legs.

Given that you picked him to get sparked against both these guys, wouldnt that be YOUR dumbass underrating him? Or do you admit you just dont know **** about boxing?
First off Dirrell is 1-1 because he made the mistake of fighting in England. Same mistake Tszyu and Ruiz made. Anything goes, a true boxing backwater. Rabbit punches, body slams, and still Dirrell made Froch look like the club fighter he is. Froch needed an SD to beat a guy who's never even been 12 rounds, less then 20 fights, the definition of a prospect. shows what level the SMW division has been operating on since Roy Jones left.

Dirrell is a stylistic mismatch against everyone in the tournament. Save maybe Ward. First because he's fighting slow plodding Eurobums, and 2 because his level of athleticism is probably the best in the sport or very very close to the best. Of course caveman brawlers like Froch are gonna look bad. Of course defensive sluggers are gonna look bad against Dirrell. But he'd have made stationary boxers like Green and Taylor look horrible too. The only fighter that would give him trouble is a Hopkins like fighter who can nuetralize his speed ala Ward. But Ward too is a great fighter and he too along with Dirrell will clean out this crap division.
:rofl Any more proof this cat doesnt know **** about boxing?

When Dirrell hurt Froch and knocked out Abraham they were both counter punches off the ropes with his opponents charging forward like the club fighters they are.

Dirrell was hit plenty against Abraham, round 3 Abraham landed some solid punches, didnt shake Dirrell came right back and knocked him over.

Now Froch didnt land many legal punches, but by the end of the 12th it was clear who the superior boxer was. Maybe not to you and your dumb Brit buddies but for everyone else, it was clear.

    :rofl

A ***** like you telling boxers if they've earned their money. Dirrell fought a magnificent fight against Abraham, his stock has soared because of it. I hope losers like you keep hating, that means Dirrell is still winning, and thats all that really matters in the end.

MichiganWarrior, if you took some time out to watch some boxing instead of the endless replays of Froch/Dirrell, you'd know that there have been other high profile fights recently featuring rabbit punches and body slams. Shockingly, some of them were even in the USA! Who knew it wasn't such a never before seen occurance afterall?

And if you ever bothered to read the threads instead of just regurgitating onto them, you'd know that I've given Dirrell plenty of credit.

A prime Taylor who couldnt easily beat welterweights in Winky Wright and Cory Spinks you dumbass.

Taylor would get schooled by Dirrell. Taylor fought like you're typical European fighter. Does everything well nothing great. Basically Mikkel Kessler. Taylor was never even close to the athlete in his prime that Andre Dirrell is now.

AGain proving you dont know **** about the sport. What would Cory Spinks do that Dirrell wouldnt. Wow. :rofl

Abraham got knocked down in the process of throwing his punches clown. Dirrell was countering his ass everytime he threw. How dumb are you?

I'll mark that down as a W for Dirrell. Given your horrific predictions so far and your general lack of boxing knowledge, this can easily be penciled in as W straight outclassing for Dirrell should they ever meet.
