Where art thou? Does he have an upcoming fight? Is he even fighting anymore? Please tell me they're not gonna waste a talent like Dirrell just like that when he could be fighting guys like Ward or Kovalev.
Read his blog and he says he is fighting again sometime later this year. Dirrell Says he wants to rematch Froch but this time in the US. Wants the winner of Froch-Grove. He also called out GGG. He says the 2014 is his year to make a comeback and take his place among the elite. We'll have to wait and see if anything actually materializes.
I got to see Dirrell perform as an amateur when he was the star of boxing in Michigan/the next Mayweather/the future cream of the 2004 Olympic crop/blah/blah/blah. He was a head case even then. One minute he would be slinging off ten punch salvos that would have been the envy of a lightweight era Shane Mosley. Then the next minute he'd get clipped with a glazing blow and he'd turtle up and start skittering around the ring. He'll continue to fight once a year against low level journeymen, prompting occasional threads like this. He'll say he wants Triple G and Ward and then he'll fight Ossie Duran instead. He's a flaky weirdo, and it really is that simple.
Something odd is definitely going on with Dirrell. On his blog he seems like he is perfectly fine hanging with his family and going gym. I have to give it to him. He sure must be good at managing his money because he acts as if he doesn't need any.

Naw. On his blog he said when he was watching his brother fight for the title it motivated him to get back into the ring and give it his best. We'll see.
