maaannn....remember watching him against abraham and froch.....was pulling for him all the way...and liked how he fought also remember watching him live at mohegan sun against curtis stevens years ago when stevens was considered a top level threat.....ill admit i almost fell asleep but was still impressed how he made this hype job look exactly like that...like he had no business in the same ring i dunno what exactly whats wrong with dirrell now....whether its legit fear....paranoia.....or a legit injury....but i feel bad. for what i thought he could have been
I think he has been at an acting school........................Dirrell, fall down on canvas, complain, run, hold, etc. He also backed out of his fight with Ward....................
I was rooting for him in the super 6 I thought he had the talent to win it. But he's simply not been the same since he was fouled by AA. Makes me think some permanent damage was done, if not physically then psychologically. I think it's safe to say we'll never see him fighting at world level ever again if at all.
Well, despite a shitty opponent he looked pretty good last fight. Now he just needs to get his ass back to HBO or Showtime and face Froch, Ward, Stevenson, or Kovalev. War Matrix! :bbb
Let's see if he's got the nuts to fight Sanchez. Sanchez is on HBO now, and he's top 3 by every sanctioning body. If he beats Sanchez, he can choose which titlist he wants. Until then, he can stfu about Froch. Notice, he called out no one cept Froch, and he dodged the Ward question, knowing Ward is trying to sign with his daddy, Al Haymon.:yep:yep
After his latest bum KO does anyone else think he should be back in the mix with all the other top SMW such as Ward and Froch. He needs to fight someone with a pulse already. Although I will say I think his latest performance showed some of his technical flaws, one which I think Ward will exploit if ever they fought.
probably the most skilled at 168. he beat froch clearly and was whipping the hell out of AA, not like that's anything big but hey they are rated ridiculously on here. he just fought, looked fairly decent for his skillset, couple more fights he will be the man at 168
You really think so? IMO he was falling apart in the AA fight sure he had a lead but he was throwing himself all over the ring a sure sign of breaking down physically and/or mentally.
