i saw him fight last week, he's got all the talent but like a lot of skilled pros early in their career he seems a little apprehensive about mixing it up and also doesnt throw nearly enough

in the interview though, he said he would be ready for a title shot very soon

the people who keep making **** ass jokes about him need to just stop acting intellegent ..get your youtube privlages revoked or use them for something worth while ..like looking up OTHER dirrell fights .. stop dwelling on the ONE that you watched ... the guy didn't get all them ko's on his record by running ..

How is Ward anything like Roy? I don't like Ward much, but he's NOTHING like Roy. Not offensively, not defensively. He's a very orthodox fighter who's decent but not great at everything and who has quick fists but no other great tool. If there's anyone out there right now he's similar to, it's Erdei, not Jones.

I think Dirrell is going to be a force, I actually rate him higher than Ward, both of them have poor power though. I mean they take guys out with accumulation, not one shot.

I guess you didn't see Dirrell's last fight. He split the guys forehead wide open with one punch. The ref had to stop the fight as there was blood all over the place,

I saw it, the guy wasn't hurt he was just cut. I actually beleive that he could have fought on but the bleeding was way too bad for the fight to be allowed to continue.

He's definitely one to look out for. He's got all the goods. It will be interesting to how far he goes in his career.

I agree. I was totally turned off by that performance against a man he should have eaily outclassed. He looked impressive in his last two fights and I see him fighting for a major title in about a year.

The guy could've continued, but you don't do that sort of damage with one punch if you have poor power. Dirrell is similar to Mayweather in terms of power. He's not a devastating puncher, but he has enough power to put a real hurting on his opponent. He's scored his share of 1 punch KDs

Stevens performance is what got me interested in Dirrell. I didn't see the fight but everyone was complaining about it. Of course, pretty much none of these critics had seen any other Dirrell fight. I did some looking around and found a couple. I was really impressed by what I saw.

Truly one of the nice families in boxing.
I hope both of them win World Championships and I'll be following them.
As I've said before, Andre's punch to Paschall sounded like a mortar shell going off. I was actually worried about 'the persecutor' until he stood up.
As with all young boxers, as he moves up in class, he'll need to concentrate more and step up his game.

To be honest he ran way to much in that fight when it was obvious that he could have easily outclassed Stevens. It was like he was scared to let his hands go or something.

Well he's a young pro. I'm sure after a few more fights he will calm down and settle into a rhythem.

Dirrell is decent but still requires to be tested more. I did not see the Curtis Stevens fight, I saw Dirrell v Kenny Kost, Hanshaw & Paschall. Against Kost he looked promising against Hanshaw he overcame a shaky start to dominate Hanshaw impressively stopping him, but in his last fight I was not hugely impressed. He seemed to get caught by Paschall in the 3rd RD I think and held on, Paschall only had 4 stoppages in his career.
