Wasn't just boxing, hockey too they still battle that perception (especially in regards to 'toughness'), usually Eastern European soccer players are underrated too. Bowe was a tough SOB though, look at his fights with Holyfield, the guy could take a punch.

 

Bowe had his prime beaten out of him by Holyfield, he NEVER looked good after their trilogy. Any version of Tyson, Pre Nielson, would've brutalized and stopped the Bowe that Golota fought.

 

Yeah Golota at his peak had the tools to beat everyone today but he would find a way to somehow lose :-(

Golota is good technician , but still not true warior. I rhink that if he could outjab Vitali(i doubt) then Vit would just change the whole fight to big brawl and Golota wouldn't be able to answer

According to Wlad, well both had quite similar Eastern European techincs with great jab

Wlad has more power better killer instinct, Golota maybe would have advantage in movement and more combos
