How come these overly religious fighters use every dirty trick in the book? Examples: Holyfield, Bradley and now Ward. Isn't honesty a central principle for religious people? Ward knew that he head buttet Kessler several times, yet in the interview he said he only felt two (totally accidental) and two of the three cuts came from punches. Doesn't he think that his god should know better?

Most overly religious people use their extreme piety in an attempt to hide their shortcomings, doubts and paranoia. It's kind of arrogent when fighters claim that God gave them their victory. With everything going on in the world as it is, it seems unlikely that God would give a damn about who wins a boxing match. Holyfield has been long exposed as a bible thumping head butting hypocrite, but Wards offerings of skull seemed much less deliberate or frequent. Andre totally shut down Kessler long before there were any clashes of heads.
