What I don't get is that he's trying to brush away every bit of goodwill he has with boxingfans and press.
This must be very raw to the people that were backing him after the fight, acting this way. This is like kicking someone in the shins, then running away as fast as you can and gloating about it.

He'd already started to slip, he was peak when JC superstar beat him. It's still a good win, I'd put on par with Ward's victory over Froch in retrospect although Froch was peak when Ward beat him, Kessler I believe was starting to slip.

No as I've just posted in a previous post it's a very good win, Froch imo is the only "peak" fighter Ward has beaten. It was more about how Ward totally shut down Froch, I had him winning 10-2.

Froch is known as a warrior because he goes life and death with fighters he really shouldn't be doing.

Froch should have had 2 wins over Kessler, he was on the wrong side of a curious (imo) decision their first meeting, although he still should have had one defeat at the time he met Ward. Carl should have been awarded the loss against Dirrell.

Oh, I see what you mean now. I also recall scoring that fight in favor of Ward in a lopsided fashion, but I haven't seen it in awhile. I know a lot of people have it 7-5 or 8-4 Ward and...that is not how I recall that fight going at all.

    The man's an arrogant arsehole.

Im not a fan of Naz or Floyd Joy, two polarising arrogant fighters, but I can see why some people would be. Ward on the other hand is not only arrogant and charmless but comes across as A horrible Man.

He already fought the Krusher and won. Balls the size of King Kong on that man.

Kovalev has an unhealthy obsession for Andre Ward. He was tweeting stuff about him on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years. https://twitter.com/KrusherKovalev
This guys tweets only about Andre Ward. It's kind of weird now. I understood at first but c'mon...

Andre "son of judges" Ward speaks a lot of trash to my side. Stop little boy! If you really thinks that you won then approve it in rematch!

The grammatical mistakes tell me that it really is Kovalev sending these tweets, lol. With a lot of athletes I'm never sure if it is them or someone from their management team, but there is no way this isn't coming directly from Kov lmao.

Don't think you can call that an unhealthy obsession. After Ward's bull, the way he took away his belts and now seems to try to weasel out of the contracted rematch, I would publicly shame him into the fight as well.
Kovalev knows he has the vast majority of the fans and press behind him, so he should push it as far as possible (within reason of course)

Even with the limited vocabulary, Kov appears classier and more of a charmer.

I agree...I think the Kessler fight particularly the first fight could have gone either way, but I felt Dirrell pulled it off on enemy territory but got stiffed by the judges.

I disagree. Kessler won Froch I, and I actually scored Froch vs Dirrell by a single point for the running man, but I was perfectly fine with the judges' decision in that one. Sure, score wise Dirrell should have gotten the nod there, but what he pulled was a black eye for boxing right there and then. Being that extremely negative and then expecting to take that belt on foreign soil is too much to ask.
That was a bit of a robbery, but a very rare occasion in which it favored boxing. The only one I know of actually.
