Bit of a stretch to say Kessler was past prime at the age of 30...especially when he went on to beat Froch afterwards.

 

Not really, Prime Kessler takes prime Froch imo.

 

People are hating on his personality, not his style. Sure they find him boring but look at the comments. People seem like they're disgusted, talking like he's beneath them. It's disturbing because he isn't a bad guy at all.

I truly believe that the people hating on him have ulterior feelings. Whether it be race, nation, or something else. Because he doesn't give you anything to hate to the degree he is hated.

Unless people are just mad because they wanted to see him knocked out...

 

1. He's an egomaniac for sure but people talk about him in the same light that they do Broner. That's baffling.

2. Just because he expected more from kovalev doesn't mean he thinks he's a "one dimensional plodder". All the fans that predicted a Kovalev knockout technically expected more lol

 

So what did Andre expect more of? To be knocked down more times or out for good? It's one of the silliest comments I've ever heard a 'winning' boxer say.

He admits he can see how people though the other guy won so to say what he said is just straight up dumb Alex.

It was truly a split even fight, Canelo barely edged it.

 

That sounds like a yes to me, but also a draw.
Remember, Canelo won the fight on just body shots.

 

Too bad Canelo genuinely won the fight, it was close but it was competitive and the unofficial score cards had him ahead as well. Canelo didnt rely on hometown decision, although one of the score cards in his favor was too wide, I think the judge was Martinez.

Kovalev got robbed and the experts agree. You cannot compare the two fights, Kovalev should have won.

 

Many people felt Lara won the fight.

Lara: 107/386---- 28% - 107 were head shots

 

Like I said it was a very close fight, people were way to split on it but ultimately Canelo was doing the most effective punches and was taking it to Lara, Lara was throwing potshots and running around not doing much.
