Andre S.O.G Ward will clean out 175 just like he did 168 and be #1 for years to come

Despite recent reports, I'm still not 100% convinced that Ward will make the full time jump to 175 while a GGG fight is still plausible.

I wonder if HBO is trying to lure him away from 168 in order to protect GGG, whom they apparently view as a commodity with a bright future.

I think Ward vs GGG is dead. GGG seems to be staying at 160 thru all of 2016 and maybe further. Ward will be doing his thing at 175 by then so I don't know, it seems dead for now.

this will probably happen...and triple quack fans will be vindicated...for they will def know then they had no shot all along....i mean...k2 knows it....but his fans dont yet.....they will soon learn

rummy...a ggg fight isnt plausible....ward and co. already got the message...k2 dont want it......they want ward to go up to 175 and go away so the talk goes away

i agree...thats exactly what k2 is hoping...they want ward at 175 to drive a bigger wedge between the ward/ggg matchup

It is still plausible, albeit increasingly unlikely.

I just wonder where GGG goes if Cotto-Canelo get caught up in a trilogy, and Lee loses to BJS.

And the problem is not just the weight class differences. Each fighter thinks one is worth more than the other.

That's usually when a 50-50 compromise is in order.

if ggg does 300k ppv buys it will be hard to argue 50-50 in fairness

ward could only do them numbers on free tv

of course and id agree but if more people paid 70 dollars to watch ggg than would tune in to watch ward for free he would really look silly asking for 50-50

I don't see GGG moving up unless there's a huge money fight. He'll keep fighting the best available challenger and have more options with the IBF belt in his possession as well.

Ward, probably could accomplish that goal at Lhw.
