The funny part of this fight was how Kovalev fans predicted that Ward was going to grab and hold and head butt, but the exact opposite happened because it was Kovalev doing all the grabbing, holding, and head-locking.
The ref should have definitely penalized Kov for excessive holding and the 50 head locks he used during the fight.

 

Kova WAS neutralizing Wards inside illegal tactics and headbutts. So in other words Kova was Warding Ward.
