Kovalev proved he was the better fighter that night and all other nights, which is why he is causing tremendous amounts of butthurt and insecurities.
Ward's talking an awful lot, reminds me of Bradley when he got his gift over Pacquaio. As for the fight Ward was dirty, he fights ugly and he turns people off watching him. Ward may of been the better fighter on the inside but Kovalev bear Ward at long and mid range, Kovalev out boxed the so called master boxer.
I agreed with the judges, thought Ward won a close but clear decision. Not butthurt in the slightest CroCop, no reason to be the tougher, slicker, better conditioned fighter won.
How do you lose a fight despite outlanding your opponent in powershots, overall punches and head shots? Also the knockdown should have been enough to give Kovalev the victory.
It stupid for ward and his fan to defend Ward. Kovalev most likely got rob thrice. A champion got screwed in the negotiation table earning less than half from an inactive challenger. Win the fight in the eyes of 3/4 of planet earth but rob by 3 hometown judges. Over estimate ppv sales resulting in a probably no rematch because of ward would demand the same or more.
Yeah ward showing his true side again, funny how he thinks charging across the ring like a Billie goat and wrestling for ten rounds counts as an inside game, you can make a case in Kovalevs favour by saying Ward doesn't have any game at all other than to stink the joint out. Can't wait for the press conferences as Ward is gonna be asked some awkward questions about that night, heck he lied about being dropped for the first time so we can expect more lies from a guy who's face told evreything after that fight?
You'd think a 'son of God' wouldn't need to have home advantage, a home referee and 3 home judges to win.....
And 80% of thousands of people would be wrong if they had it any different than 114-113. You pick ur winner, I don't care. It was a close fight. Ward got the decision. DWI...
It wasn't even a close fight. If it was so close you wouldn't have a lot of peopel that aren't even biased that scored it 116-111 for Kov.
Andre "SOK" Ward is really making strides to become one of the least liked fighters in the sport. Maybe he wants to go the Broner route, where people watch only to see his face punched in.
SOB is using the oldest deflection tactic in the book. It's designed to influence people that haven't seen the fight. Those people might think that there is some truth behind his statements. But it's an ineffective tactic, by now, hundreds of thousands have witnessed the robbery. There is a huge groundswell of momentum that is clearly apparent on this forum. A desperate ploy from a from a fighter in denial.
