I've already told y'all the re-match will be in June. IDK why you folks don't believe me. When I said that, I also said RNS was having Cotto looking to fight Kirkland. Well guess what was just posted on the scene?

Kov had no inside work. NONE ! Everytime Ward looked to get inside ; Kov went for the clinch. He got tired and threw arm punches at Ward and lost a clear decision.

Ward couldn't look people in the eye after the fight hahahaha his celebrations were phony and the crowd knew it too.. Say what he likes but SK won more points in that fight in the eyes of the majority. Ward bleating about dirty fighting loooool.... He is essentially saying Kovalev beat him at his own game then and all the talking Ward is doing post fight speaks volumes! He's trying to compensate for his insecurity and the fact that nobody sees him as peerless anymore.

Too close to be a robbery.

Your opinion is officially invalid on the matter lol

What did he do in this fight?

Didn't you think he'd avoid the first fight?

Kovalev out landed Ward by TEN punches, and most of that came in rounds 1 and 2. That only wins him two rounds.

You place Ward and Broner in the same regard?

Nobody won by 3 or 4 rounds. Widest scores imo is 114-113 Ward, or 115-112 Kovalev.

Ward fans and his supporters know he lost this fight .

I praise and respect Half of them who came out already and admitted their fighter was defeated after the fight .

Ward supporters were all over Youtube showing their outrage and confessed that Ward did not deserve the decision .

    I respect their honesty .

Not its other half that needs to come out and admit the truth and keep it 100 .

    But I understand , its loyalty .

There's even Ward fans in here right now in this thread that know he lost this fight , but out of their overwhelming loyalty towards the man , they are just not going to admit defeat .

It is what it is .

But I think that's lame as hell .

Kovalev needs to stop moaning and negotiate a rematch which Ward will give him and beat him again.

Kova landed more than Ward in 6 rounds and had the overall most number of landed punches.

    In ROUND 1 by (7-5)
    Round 2 by ( 16-3)
    Round 4 by (9-7)
    Round 6 by ( 9-8)
    Round 10 by (21-16)
    Round 12 by (13-12)

Kovalev outjabbed Ward in 4 rounds, 3 rounds were a draw,
    Round 1 Draw ( 4-4)
    Round 2 Kova (5-3)
    Round 3 Draw (3-3)
    Round 5 Draw ( 3-3)
    Round 8 ( 4-1)
    Round 10 (11-9)
    Round 12 ( 3-1)

Ward did get more jabs by 5 rounds than Kova's 4. Ward got the most Jabs landed overall.

Power punches Kova outlanded Ward in 8 rounds and overall

    Round 1 (3-1)
    Round 2 ( 11-0)
    Round 4 (6-3)
    Round 6 (6-3)
    Round 7 ( 6-5)
    Round 8 ( 4-1)
    Round 10 ( 10-7)
    Round 11 ( 7-4)

Now take in to account the knockdown, Kovalev threw more effective and damaging punches towards him and landed more of them. Ward was visibly hurt throughout the fight and was backpedalling, Ward never had Kovalev in any trouble, Ward threw Sporadic counters that lacked efficiency and used allot of grappling which Kovalev did well to neutralize by putting Ward in headlocks. Ward may have been more precise but it was not anywhere close to enough to winning him the fight. Also take note that Kovalev landed more headshots on Ward as well. Kovalev's rounds won were much clearer than Wards as well, it is a no brainer, have this fight take place in anyother country or possibly state and Kovalev wins, in Russia he would have won wide.

This contraversy can be easily solved by Ward agreeing to a rematch NEXT ! And as soon as possible.
I know Sergey Kovalev cannot wait. But this time use unbiased officials in a neutral venue.
I somehow don't think Andre Ward will go for that idea though

You don't score fights with stats, and everyone brings up the knockdown like it wasn't accounted for. The KD is only -1 point. If you feel like Kovalev won then it's cool, but I don't, I had Ward BARELY winning. Don't know why you guys can't accept it.

It was the wrong decision, had Ward truly beaten Kova I would not bother complaining, Tyson Fury obviously beat Wlad, I am not complaining there am I? Also these stats plus the explanation I gave you are the reasons why Everyone thought Kovalev won, it is not enough to simply survive the fight land sporadically and get a decision, that is some Sven Ottke Affirmative action BS there. Ward never had Kovalev in any trouble, Kova on the other hand did.

After watching this fight a couple of times I score how I see and I still have Kovalev winning.
I know we have to accept the judges cards but we all know judges can be a bit blind sometimes we look at Lewis Holyfield 1 and a few more to see yes they do get it wrong.
I hope there is a rematch but to be honest if there is I believe Ward is the cleverer fighter and will have learned all he needs to know in the first fight to make sure he wins legitimately 2nd time around.

Because they're too emotionally invested in it that's why. They wanted Ward to be brutally stopped and embarrassed that didn't happen and they can't simply come to terms with that. They feel there's no way that Kovalev should lose if he knocked down Ward despite the fact the rest of the fight was really close. If Kovalev had not knocked down Ward this wouldn't even be up for debate.
