Ah yes. This Robney is just the progression of a fighter thats starting to believe in his ability. The Froch fight was Dirrells first on a major stage. Despite this he really beat Froch. Sure he didn't make Froch pay as much as he could have but he still did enough to win the fight imo. After the first few rounds of the AA fight, you could see a Dirrell that had realized there is nobody better than himself. Then he fought like he knew it. Next you will see an Andre Dirrell that many will liken to a prime Roy Jones Jr., however there is only one Matrix:yep
Andre Dirrell has the fastest hands I've seen on a Super Middleweight since Roy Jones Jr. That's where it ends with that comparison...for now.
i was actually very impressed that he was able to hurt abraham the way he did. i assumed he was pillowfisted. abraham has a solid chin.
I'm not too sure.. but I'll tell you one thing... style make fights.. and this would be the most boring ever....
Dirrell actually has average power. As he's progressing his technique is becoming even more polished. As his confidence has risen, he's been sitting down on his punches and throwing with more conviction and much more often.
Dirrell would fight Dawson with Paul Williams type aggression. This would be a duel of scientists yes but not necessarily a boring one.
I never really thought he was particularly queering out on ***** street and there were no downs, so... His KO pct is also just so-so

To me this seems like almost a mirror match. I think Dirrell's faster hands and ring smarts would spell doom for Dawson in a close back and forth match.
Another joke thread. Dawson. Dawson may have lost to Pascal beaten only by Froch who beat Dirrell also but that dosent mean that much. Dirrell only has one victory of real note and that was a DQ win against a small former MW champ, whos big win was who?
