Andre 'The Running Man' Dirrell vs AA - Will this be the most boring fight ever?

Did you enjoy the dropping to the knees, turning away, excessive hugging that Dirrell used. Damn ugly fight by these guys. BTW, our avi bet is off due to the nature of the result. Don't take this as evidence of me believing Froch lost. I don't I had him winning by a point. I'm honest enough to admit that I can see how this fight could be scored either way. Both guys did what they thought they had to to win. Froch got the decision because 1. He was reigning champ. 2. It was his hometown. 3. He forced the fight. Not saying this is right or wrong and personally I would have been happier with a draw...but that's boxing. :roll:

 

Abraham is pretty quick on his feet when going for the flurries, he would catch Dirrell sooner or later, same as Froch landed punches.

 

I agree. Had that been a bog standard six rounder on a small hall British show, Dirrell would have been Dq'd for refusing to fight

 

I too think the fight resorts to a mess, with Dirrell spoiling the whole fight, just trying to land two surprise hands in the middle of the round, then disengage and run circles. But Abraham will still connect on him later, as Froch did too.

 

Froch fans are just pissed because Dirrell didn't stand there to get hit with those wide looping punches ..In the fight with Double A he will have to just box from angels and jab jab jab to the body ..Force Abrham to lower his guard then attack up stairs with speed ..

Good luck to Dirrell in hitting Abrahams body! If you didn't notice in the Taylor fight, Abrahams defence, his forearms, pretty much covers from his protector to his chin.

 

Hey its boxing anything is possible ..As long as they dont like always call the attempts to the body low blows im sure he can get there .

.But if you notice a streight jab to the body is easier to land than a hook to the body especially with the way he holds his guard ..I do worry about Dirrell's chin its not that far fetched to see Double A win by another KO .

Froch-Dirrel was the ugliest and boring fight of the year, AD was responsible of that, cause of his running, and complaining strategy...He will be scared as hell against AA equals a f-boring fight.
